Hello Again!
I'm a Seattle-based freelance artist who currently works mainly on a commission base. I work in multiple media but focus heavily on photography and 2-D materials.
Originally from Southeast Georgia, I moved to Washington in April 2023 to study clinical mental health counseling (CMHC) with a concentration in art therapy at Antioch University Seattle. Before this, I graduated from Georgia College and State University with a bachelor's in fine art and a minor in psychology in the Summer of 2022.
My studies at Georgia College led me to focus on photography, printmaking, and ceramics in addition to the basic skills of 2-D and 3-D Design. In addition, the primary themes of exploration in my artwork included mental health and fantasy worlds. My ceramics work was displayed by the National Arts Alliance of Milledgeville and shown for a month. My capstone, also known as a cohesive body(ies) of work produced in order for a student to graduate, was centered around the stigma of mental health. and can be found on my website under 3-D Works. It was part of a much larger exhibition titled "Abundance".
After graduating, I relied mostly on doing freelance photography for events in the surrounding area as well as creating original designs for tattoos for friends and family.
My hopes for my future work include exploring politically charged themes, such as nonbinary erasure and feminine rage as they prove to be the most impactful in my experience. My special interests lean into basic tattoo design as well as dabbling in 3-D materials like resin work.
In my spare time, you can find me at a concert, enjoying live music, or at home listening to a podcast and reading a textbook. My hobbies also include cooking, playing/watching video games, specifically horror, watching anime, and exploring my new home in the Pacific Northwest.
Thanks for stopping by!
